An anchor link is a specific type of hyperlink that allows users to jump to a particular section within the same website.
Anchors can be used on any page where quick navigation is beneficial. By clicking on an anchor link, the user will jump to a specific section on any page of the site, enhancing the user experience by saving time and making information more accessible.
Here's how to make an anchor link within a page on a SiteSwan website...
1. Click the Edit option next to the Button you want to link from.
2. Look for the "Link Type" dropdown.
3. Choose the "Section of a Page" option, choose the "Page" where the section is that you want to link to, and choose the "Section" on that page.
Be sure to click "OK" to save your changes.
4. Click on the linked Button to jump to the section on the page you selected.
In this example, we set the link to jump to the "Get in Touch With Us section" on the home page of the website.
